EquineThis page dedicated to the memory of my Buddy UR Magic As a devoted horseman and breeder/trainer of quality show horses for the past 30 years it has been very exciting to include Thermal Infrared Imaging into my training program. As all horsemen/horsewomen understand that a horse without wheels is not functional. The business of equine sports be it Racing, Hunter/Jumper, Barrel Racing. Team Penning, Calf Roping or anyother of the many performance type sports requires healthy feet and legs. I would venture to state that there is not a horse person on this planet that has not suffered the disappointment of a performance horse becoming lame during the most critical event, one hundred yards from the finish line, just as that calf made a 90 degree turn, rounding the third barrel or trail riding when you and your horse are 30 miles from your camp and trailer. As a Horseman I have learned the importance of the Thermal camera in detecting early abnormal temperatures in feet and legs by documentation of temperatures before and after workouts thus allowing your Vet and or Ferrier to recommend corrective action before the condition becomes criticl. Does your saddle fit the confirmation of your horse we can scan your horse after a workout and detect spots where your saddle has been rubbing. Have you ever worn a pair of shoes that did not fit properly and how your feet hurt after walking through the local Mall. Does your Horse deserve any less than a properly fitted saddle.
